Dr. Amit Bhattacharyya, ACI’s VP of Biometrics, will moderate a panel titled “Data Monitoring Committees – Scope, Expectations and Challenges for DMC Clinicians and Statisticians” as part of the EMA satellite symposium. ACI Clinical’s president, Dr. Jonathan Seltzer, will sit on this panel with other distinguished and deeply experienced statistics leaders from the FDA and EMA, academia, and industry to share their experiences and knowledge around DMC scope, expectations, relevance and challenges in order to provide a common understanding of current best practices. This session will also be a good platform to hear thoughts from the regulatory agencies related to revisions in FDA guidance and the EU regulatory network. This panel will take place at 10:30 am – 12 noon on Friday, September 1st.

Dr. Amit Bhattacharyya has also co-organized a panel that he will moderate titled “Industry Leadership Panel Discussions” where the senior statistical leaders in the pharmaceutical domain will offer their views on strategic directions that statisticians can help shape to advance the industry, both in leadership and innovation. This panel is scheduled for 4:30-6:00 pm on Thursday, August 31st.
